What Causes Tremors In Right Arm?

My son is 20 years old. He has been having tremors in his right arm from the elbow down. He also had a tremor in his leg the other day. It only lasted seconds though. They have been increasing his arm lately. He is away at college. He will be going to the doctors over spring break. Is there any explanation other than the terrible diseases that it could be?
