What Causes Tremors In The Hands After An Open Heart Surgery?
My husband just recently had open heart surgery he s 83 years old . Uncontrollably on a daily basis his hands begin to shake only when he is raising his hands to eat. What may be the cause of this happening also, how do we seek advise on curing this??
The shaking hands when he is raising his hands to eat might be the first symptom for possible neurological problems like M.Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis or dystonia taking into account his age (83 years old) and his recent history of open heart surgery.
Should consult further with a neurologist and run a few neurological tests to determine the right diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
