The problem is I really don t know how to explain my symptoms. It seems if or when I get nervous, my jaw seems to tremble. It s not debilitating, but I wonder if I have something more serious than just shaking. I m a female, 77 years old. Thanks so much.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tremors in the jaw which seems to be due to anxiety, muscle tremors, hypocalcemia and deficiency of vitamin D3. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take anti-anxiety medications such as Alprazolam. If it occurs due to stress only need not to worry much. Try to relax yourself and try to re position jaw. Take enough sleep of 8 hours. Take Vitamin D3 supplements in your diet. go for regular walk and meditation to relax yourself. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit general physician once and get it examined completely and start treatment after thorough examination. Go for blood tests and vitamin D3 and calcium test. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
