What Causes Tremors In The Legs Followed By A Blackout?

My 15 year old daughter says that she got up from a laying position today and walked a few steps and her legs started shaking really badly and she blacked out for a few seconds and woke up on the floor. She tells me today this has been happening around once/month. She also feels very tired and fatigued a lot, way more than is normal for someone her age. Please advise!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I think she may be suffering from diabetes. She needs to be tested, fasting glucose levels, postprandial glucose levels and HbA1c.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
