What Causes Tremors In The Legs?

I have not seen a doctor about the jerking in my legs. It feels like ,when you turn a rubber band to its tightness and let go. I was thinking it may be RLS. I am a nocturnal epileptic but the convulsions are no longer. I just have black outs or sleep walk. Could that be causing my legs to jerk?
