ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, the common reason for this problem is acid reflux which gives a feeling of something sticking in the throat and thus appear as difficulty in swallowing saliva. A course of proton pump inhibitor for 3 weeks should help. Other common reason can be some allergy which should be tackled with anti allergics for few days. If still the problem is persisting, please consult an ENT and you may need an endoscopic examination. Regards
