What Causes Tugging Sensation On Left Side Of The Mouth?

I am a 36 year old female. For the past week, I have been getting a tugging sensation on the left side of my mouth, I have noticed also a sensation of weakness to the left side in general when it happens, especially to my arm. I don t believe it is a heart attack or stroke, as I have absolutely no chest pain. What are your suggestions as what it may be?

Hi welcome to HCM.
Symptoms of left sided weakness have to be carefully evaluated in your case.Elevated blood pressure can contribute to such cerebrovascular changes if left undiagnosed and untreated.Family history of such events like stroke or heart attack have to be addressed.A screening 2 dimensional echocardiography and MRI brain can be very useful.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
Thank you
