What Causes Twitching In The Arms Or Shoulders During The Night?
I periodically have twitches in either arm or up toward my shoulder that is like a fairly strong spasm. Not painful and always during sleep. Can t say its frequent, every night but does wake me from slumber. May ocurr at anytime during the night but always while sleeping.

You need to consult the neurologist for the issue, as it looks that you might be an epileptic fit. Though it looks local neurological concern it should not be ignored.
Sometimes the anxiety also makes such irrational signs and symptoms but to make you wake up from sleep needs to be evaluated properly.
