What Causes Twitching Of Corner Of Mouth?

I fight submission grappling (jiu jitsu) and a few days ago, I got choked across the middle of my face. My chin and lower jaw went completly numb for about 10 minutes and when I got feeling back, the corner of my mouth was twitching. its been 24 hours and it still hasnt quit. Why would it be doing this?
