What Causes Twitching Of Eye?

I have a twitchy feeling in my left eye. I searched it up on the web and i found out they were tired eye muscles. I think it may be due to using the laptop alot over the past few days. I want to know how to heal the tired eye muscles and improve my eyesight overall

Hello,

Twitching in the eye could be due to fasciculations. This can occur in any muscle in the body even in an otherwise healthy individual. You can ignore it and expect it to disappear gradually. Use lubricating eye drops frequently such as Refresh tears eye drops, 1 drop 4 times a day for about a month.

To keep your eyes healthy and have a good vision, eat healthy food such as vitamin A rich food( fruits such as mangoes, papaya, vegetables like carrots, green leafy vegetables and include fish if you are non-vegetarian). Excessive use of laptop can cause eye muscle fatigue and dry eyes. Take a break of 20 seconds every 20 minutes.

Regards
