What Causes Twitching Sensation All Over Body, Numbness And Weakness?

A month ago I experienced continuous twitching in my left upper eye lid. I searched in google and seen ALS is one of the reasons for muscle twitching. And then onward I experienced twitching all over my body. After two weeks I suddenly felt my right hand numb and weak, but when I tried to lift any heavy object, I could. The feeling stayed for couple of weeks. Now that has gone, but there are occasional twitches all over and a a feeling like a bubble popping/ something crawling under my skin. Please help.

Hi,

Twitching of eyelids can be mostly insignificant at the most continuous twitching can be refractoryerror &s train to muscles. Twitching of general muscles can be out of anxiety or nervousness / dehydration alcohol abuse.
ALS as you suspect is a rare disorder of progressive damage of nerve fibers & needs to be confirmed by a nurophysician after MRI brain.
Please do not get tensioPlease consultant physician to exclude / confirm all of above causes&then ALS & get needful treatment as advised.
Till then keep yourself well hydrated, avoid stress, get eyes checked. Take vit.B12 & calcium suppliments
