What Causes Twitching Sensation In The Upper Body?

i have immune mediated neuropathy and take several meds and had the same meds for 2 years with no0 recent changes . but now when i get totally relaxed my hand,legs, arm and sometimes my whole upper body across my shoulders will twitch sometimes violently i can set it in motion.say if i am holding a dinner fork and totally relax my hand , the fork will jump probably 2 inches overall ,sometimes if i am in the recliner and that to dose of my lower body legs will violently spasm and wake me but it is so bad i am worriked i will jump out of bed
