What Causes Twitching Sensations In The Head?

i have a twitching sensation on the left side of my head, a little above my ear. It is not deep, feels like a vein or something. it only occurs for a couple of seconds at a time, and repeats anywhere from every minute to every hour and does not hurt. it scares me because aneurysms run in my family. I do have high blood pressure, but i am only 26. should i be concerned after 2 days of this?
