What Causes Two Different Sized Testicles In A 17 Year Old Boy?

My son, when I see him bathing at the age of 17 yrs old... I was wondering why his lower of the penis are the 2 balls. why is it that the other one is bigger and the other is smaller. This is normal to male kid like him? I mean the size of his balls is not the same... not really very small a little bit small than the other one. Thank you so much.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query .
Read and understood your concern for your son of the age of 17 years.
Ideally the size of the both the testis should be absolutely equal.

I would advise you the following:
Get an ultrasonography of the scrotum done.
A good clinical evaluation and actual examination can help to get a perfect clinical diagnosis and a plan to get a proper treatment.

If the disparity is not much , do not worry about it.
If your son has the practice of masturbation, get the semen analysis done.

I find this answer helpful
