What Causes Two Different Skin Colors In My Daughter?

Hi I have an 18 month old daughter. Her face is fair skinned but body and especially legs are quite dark. I am Indian and Brown skinned. My wife is Lebanese and fair skinned. Will our baby remain two-toned or will she become a singular color over time? (Do we know which color?!) Thabk you.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of different skin color in your daughter, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't worry as it is benign condition. Sometimes there is mismatch of facial and body skin.
2. It is gradually match on its own.
3. Take care to avoid sun exposure and avoid overusing cosmetic products like baby powders and creams.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
