What Causes Ugly Dark Patches Around The Neck?

Hello doc,I hav dark patches around my neck which looks ugly.is it because of pigmentation?? I was asked to use biluma cream but i didn t see much difference. can you suggest any cream .I also have strech marks on body.can you suggest any cream for it.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ugly dark patches around the neck . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like result of sensitivity to sunlight , eczema , psoriasis , seborrheic dermatitis or impetigo I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like skin patch test , allergy test and blood test to find out the exact cause . Doctor may prescribe antifungal like fluconazole , immunosuppressants , anti inflammatory and corticosteroid cream . For now prevent it from sun , apply broat spectrum sunscreen , wear loose cloths , apply petroleum jelly and keep yourself hydrated . Take anti histamine twice a day .
