What Causes Ulcers Around The Mouth And Tongue In A TB Patient?

Hi. I recently visited a TB patient who is a cousin of my friend. I had once suffered from TB but was afraid to see this guys condition as he had lost a lot of weight and was so weak that he couldnt use the indian toilets. he would fall down. He was breathing very heavy and had ulcers all around his mouth, tounge so he couldnt eat anythong except fluids. I really want to help him out. I couldnt confront his mothers tears. Help me doc. Can he be saved?
