What Causes Ulcers In The Throat?

I have sort of large (dime size) open sores in my throat/on my tonsils. It comes with some sinus symptoms, fatigue, neck pain, ear pain. I thought I was just catching a cold, and maybe that is all it is, but the pain and size of the throat sores concerns me. Is this normal, or do I need to go see a doctor tomorrow? This was sudden onset, I felt fine yesterday and all symptoms have arisen since this morning.

Hi,

Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

As of now, you can do warm saline gargles and a short course of antibiotics can also be tried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
