What Causes Ulcers On The Lips?

I am having trouble with my mouth. What looks like blisters on my lips and dryness around the edges. I have recently been put on jardiance as a second diabetes med. also lips are in pain. I m thinking it could be dehydration but I m drinking a lot of water today. It s been like this for 3 days now. What do you think.

Oral herpes is an infection of the lips, mouth, or gums due to the herpes simplex virus. It causes small, painful blisters commonly called cold sores or fever blisters. Oral herpes is also called herpes labialis.Symptoms that are severe or that don't go away after 2 weeks
Sores or blisters near your eyes
Herpes symptoms and a weakened immune system due to certain diseases or medicines..then u should consult doctor
