Although the major pain has gone but still headache is there , you must be anxious from inside too plus you are taking steroids which too have an effect of increasing blood pressure, as your symptoms have eased up your blood pressure has gone down too i believe with time it will get further down. You do not have to panic. just reduce your salt intake for now, stay relaxed as your pain , anxiety and steroid therapy ends, i am expecting your blood pressure to get back to normal as before.
