What Causes Unbearable Stomach Cramps During Periods?

I had my mirena inserted a little over a month ago. For the first week or two, I had unbearable cramps followed by my period. My period started off great- no cramps, super light. Then it hit. I bled for almost two weeks straight, and now I am having a brown discharge. I ve had the discharge for a little over a week. Sometimes, the brown discharge can be accompanied by spotting (my actual period blood). What is causing this brown discharge?

your body is trying to adjust to the mirena inserted. it csn take abiut 6 months to get adjusted. all the symptoms u have mentioned are normal but if they persist longer get a gynac consult.
