Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. There is nothing to worry about this, if this is the only one mannerism of cat you have. Every people have their own mannerism. Someone scratch their back with their hands like a monkey. Some walk like a camel. Some run like a chimpanzee. Do you think all these means they need to worry?

Mannerisms are acquired by practice. If you want to change your mannerism, just be aware of the mannerism you are being troubled. Watch it, observe it, be aware of it. Whenever you feel it, do a corrective measure (like pinching yourself) The mannerism will vanish.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck. Take care.
