What Causes Unconsciousness?

Sir, In recent past I suddenly lost my consciousness for a while i.e just for few seconds after lifting heavy weight. After some months again such incident recurred even without carrying any weight and that too in the night time when I woke up for urination. Kindly let me the medical problem and remedy for it. See, the first instance was probably because some vasovagal attack or dehydration and hypoxia. Whereas the second incidence is most probably due to postural hypotension. These are not very uncommon but as it has happened twice, I would suggest you to take a neurologist opinion. Also, have enough fluid and brisk exercise.
