What Causes Uncontrollable Tremors In The Hands?

Hi, I have a 10 year old brother, that is healthy and have had no complications since he was born, he is a fit child and plays soccer. But lately, his hands uncontrollably flaps shakes , without him knowing, and his body shakes as well. He says he can t control it and gets really upset about the whole situation. We have taken him to the hospital and GP, but they say it is nothing. But, it is getting worse by time, can someone please explain to me what might be the cause?
