General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Pancreatitis can cause destruction of insulin-producing cells of the pancreas and diabetes.

Exogenous insulin must be added. Antianxiety drugs like clonazepam may be required for panic attacks.

Consult a physician or gastroenterologist and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
