What Causes Unexplained Bruises While On Clopidogrel And Antidepressants?

I have many bruises I have 21 bruises and don t know what s causing them they are really black . I am taking clopidogrel. Plus I am taking anti-depressants . Do they cause bruising ? I am really concerned as I have not had this happen to me before . Thank you for your help my name is Arisha .

Bruises on body are mostly because of problem in blood clotting .
Clopidogril also causes thinning of blood and this effect is augmented sometimes by antidepressant. And these can cause bruises by causing excessive thinning of blood. So, you should urgently talk to your doctor and do some basic blood works as if the drugs need to be reduced or stopped.
