General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Unexplained bruising & cramps on the legs commonly occur due to exertion (as in your case), dehydration, low blood glucose, thyroid issues, spinal nerve compression, kidney issues. However, some cramps may be indicative of developing diabetes & peripheral artery disease. You are suggested to take rest, stay well hydrated, control your blood glucose levels.

Take ORS to help stabilize your body electrolyte system. You can take acetaminophen or combiflam, one sos when in pain to get relieve. However, you should get clinically examined & get a complete health check up done along with Nerve conduction tests. Get all blood & imaging tests done to detect the cause of the pathology & get treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
