What Causes Unexplained Mass On Left Lower Abdominal Area?

Hi I am a 35 year old female, 4 years ago i noticed a mass on my left lower abdominal area. Pain and size have increased and seems to worsen during menstruation, which are15-21 day cycles for about 2 years now. I have had x-rays which only showed enlarged uterus and ct scans that did not reveal anything, but physically you can see and feel the hard somewhat oblong shape mass. Symptoms include swelling, sharp pains, burning sensation, cold sensation, random itching on mass, skin area by mass highly sensitive to touch and garments when swollen.

Hi,
From history as you can see mass from out side, there might be possibility of having direct inguinal hernia.
Having enlarged uterus can not show any mass out side the abdomen.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
Avoid constipation.
Ok and take care.
