Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been continuing to loose weight even though I have stopped exercising and I am not trying to loose any more weight. So far, all my labs have not shown that there is an imbalance anywhere. I had originally wanted to loose about 25 pounds, and now I have lost 41 lbs. I lost 13 lbs over a years time by drinking protein shakes and revamping my eating habits. I then joined a gym to tone up, and I lost another 7 lbs. Then I ended up getting a gum infection, having 2 teeth pulled due to that, and then I fell and had a knee arthroscopy done. I have not been to the gym in 7 months. Since I stopped going to the gym, I have lost another 21 lbs.
