What Causes Unpleasant Vaginal Odor While Having HPV?
Hello Doctor, I was diagnosed with HPV on December, I was treated with a sort of acid but I dont remember what. My vagina did well for a couple of months and then in march I started having a fishy smell. Since then it has been like that, I would like to know if it is related to the HPV
2. Since the fishy smell is one of the symptom of genital infection in women thus (which remain there) thus a healthy immune system is the best treatment against HPV virus .
3. So it is important for women to have regular Pelvic examination and Pap tests to check for abnormal cells and follow up
4. A vaccine called Gardasil has been recently approved by FDA, which can help keep you getting infected with other types of HPV.
5. Avoid sexual contact until genital warts or HPV is completely treated and healed and avoid smoking
