What Causes Unusual Bleeding With Clumps During Menstruation?

I had cramps on saturday like i always do right before my period..but they were more intence and more focused on my right side which is not normal.I started my period yesterday and it was a red color like normal. Today i went to change my pad and my blood was bright orange and there are dark red blood clumps. Should i be concerned?
