General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The dizziness of sudden onset may be in concern with various possible issues such as:
- Imbalance between the endolymph circulation and cochlea
- Pressure disturbances in the inner ear canal
- Issues with middle ear ossicles
- Meniere's disease
- Side effect of certain drugs
- Part of motion sickness
- Hair cell inflammation conditions
- Excess wax accumulation
- Intracranial tumors
- Alterations in the absorption or circulation of cerebro-spinal fluid
- Others

Though primary relief with Betahistidine 16 mg is of great concern, a repeat evaluation with an expert neurologist is the best recommended as this may require an MRI brain or other relevant investigations for the final diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
