What Causes Unusual Elevated WBC Levels?

Hi,my brother poked we with a needle in 2008 after i was poked i felt like i had the flu i was tested up to a year and i did another one 10 years later and 11 years later but they keep coming up negative but my white blood cells are elevated my doctor doing more testing im so scare cause i feel like i have all the symptoms please i need a feedback thank u

If you are concerned regarding HIV infection , this would have shown up by this time.

The tests for HIV do have a window period which is the time from exposure to when a test can reliably and accurately determine if HIV is present.

The window period can vary from 2 weeks to 6 months depending on the test done.
Any test would give an accurate result after all of these years so since they are negative, you are not HIV positive
