What Causes Unusual Movement In The Hands?

Is it possible for something to be crawling around under the skin on my hand? I have had on and off sensation of something moving in the same location on my left hand for about a week. It doesn t hurt but is annoying. I kept looking for a bug on my hand and then realized it is coming from inside. Creepy!
