What Causes Unusual Movement Under The Right Chest Area While Having Kidney Stones?

My mum who is 55years old have this feeling of movement like there s baby moving(but she has menopause) so not pregnant, right under her right ribcage. She is positive of having small kidney stones on both of her kidney. This moving sensation has been there for about two weeks. What is the reason for this?

Hi,

The abnormal sensation is not related to her kidney condition and it may be due to excessive anxiety related to stones or other possibility is gastritis which can cause ball rolling sensation sometimes. As of now she can take antacids like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms are severe she can go for an ultrasound scan just for reassurance. Wishing all the best.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
