What Causes Unusual Taste In The Mouth And Noise Sensitivity?
My taste buds have been whacked lately. Things like ketchup, salt etc. all of a sudden are overwhelming and almost a metallic taste. I have just recently been put on a cpap machine which is drying my mouth out. Also in the same time period, I am ultra sensitive to noises that startle me and sound much louder than I know they are.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have unusual taste in the mouth and noise sensitivity which is due to pesudomembrane formation at palate and around oral cavity inner surfaces. This pseudomembrane formation occur because of fungal infection in oral cavity. Sometimes symptoms occur due to nerve dysfunction or side effects of certain medicine. Noise sensitivity can occur due to ear infection. I would suggest you to visit oral physician or ENT specialist for this and get it examined after proper scrapping. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis and use Listerine mouth wash twice a day. Maintain proper oral hygiene.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
