Hello and welcome to HCM,
Oral contraceptive pills cause withdrawal bleeding once a month.
Thus, it is not normal to have bleeding once in three months after taking contraceptive pills.
The constituents of oral contraceptive pills are so designed that they cause withdrawal bleeding once a month.
You need to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and review of the oral contraceptive pills.
Discharge after having sex needs to be examined.
The discharge could be due to infection.
The discharge needs to be examined to look for evidence of infection.
In case there is evidence of infection, appropriate anti-microbial needs to be taken to treat the infection.
Is there associated bleeding after sex then you need to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment of the genital tract.
Infections, inflammation and growth of genital tract can lead to bleeding after having sex.
Thanks and take care
