What Causes Upper Abdominal Cramps?

I sometimes have a cramping feeling in the upper part of my abdomen. Usually comes on after I eat. I already take 300 mg of Ranitidine. Can you tell me what it might be? I just noticed that if I eat coconut it bring it on quickly.

Thank you very much!
