General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The swollen legs and feet with pain in upper abdomen may be indicative of infection of some sort involving urinary bladder, kidney or else with secondary manifestation of gastric discomfort. Though primary relief with antacid containing ranitidine and analgesic as Acetaminophen can be obtained, consulting your doctor is of paramount importance.

One needs basic lab tests with complete hemogram, blood urea and nitrogen, creatinine, fasting blood sugar, serum electrolytes, urine microscopy and ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
