What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain, Frequent Urination, Blood During Urination After Finished Periods?

hi doc. im female 30yrs old. early afternoon i suddenly had this pain in my upper abdomen. it is tender to touch or even just when i laugh. in the evening, i need to frequently go to urinate (10-15mins interval) and noticed blood drips after my pee flows with kicks of pain down there too. i cant seem to control my urine as it goes when it wants! no fever; no nausea ..help me...i only finished my period like 3 days ago..so not sure if it continued? my knees do feel like wobble (like i have everytime i have my period). i also made out with my hubby quite "awhile" yesterday afternoon. im just stating it in case..

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

This can be due to a local infection as well as due to urinary tract infection. A course of antibiotics will be required along with an ultrasound examination.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
