Hi, my 11 year old son has been complaining about upper abdominal pain. Overall I would say it is moderate, but at times he says it gets worse and then subsides He s had it for about 24 hours. I took his temperature and he has a low grade fever (99.6). His diet today consisted of sausage and milk for breakfast, tator tots, milk and about a half of a cheesburger for lunch, and chicken soup for supper (not a great diet today, I know). He s been drinking water as well. There is no vomiting, constipation or loose stools. I believe he just has a mild case of indigestion or something similar. However, he just started 6th grade and has never missed a day of school (including pre-school and kindergarten). My point is that he rarely, if ever, gets sick, so he is very concerned about not feeling well.
