What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain?
Is it stomach flu or? I just got me check-up at the Madison,Wi. VA this past Tue. (inc. flu shot as usual). My stomach woke me up early Thu. A.M. with a pain centered between my naval and the very bottom of my rib cage. On a scale of 1-10 it s about a 5. 31/2 days later the pain seems to have gotten a LITTLE better, but is still hurting.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a stomach flu. I suggest using antacids such as Maloox daily. I also suggest using PPI medication in the morning before breakfast.
