What Causes Upper Abdominal Pressure With Constant Burps?
For the last 2 days I ve had discomfort --pressure in my upper abdomen so that my bra feels uncomfortable under my breasts--in the center. I m constantly burping and have gas. Today I feel uncomfortable in the center of my upper back. Yesterday I had diarrhea. I feel sort of shakey. Should I see a doctor? Any suggestions?
It seems you are going through a viral infection called gastroenteritis. You will need to take Omeprazole to reduce the discomfort in the upper abdomen and the burps.
Making sure you eat and drink frequent small amounts will help also and for the back pain you can take paracetamol and if you choose to take ibuprofen please take it after food so not to hurt your stomach.
If you feel shaky you will need to check your temperature and if you have an axillary temperature of 37.5 C and above very likely you are feverish and it may be well explained with the virus but should not last more than 3 days.
In case you have no improvement or you notice any worsening please see your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
