What Causes Upper And Middle Abdominal Pain While Sitting Or Standing?
I have severe abdominal pain. It is high and center, under the indent of my ribs. I have little pain while sitting but a lot when I am standing or walking. I ve had the pains since Sunday. The first 4 days the pain bored through my abdomen and went up my back. I also has significant gas and bloating. Antacids did not do anything. It has been a little less the past two days but definitely still there. I went to an emergency room. A Chest CT, a chest X-ray, an abdominal ultrasound, and an EKG were done, but the nurse practitioner did not find anything wrong. Do you have any ideas?

I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to dyspepsia and some time this may be associated with infection and protozoa may be likely cause, and this can be well managed with medicines given bellow
1) Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day
2) Tab metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for five days
