What Causes Upper Arm Pain Along With Dizziness While On Invokana?
I am having an ache in my left upper arm. It feels like a dull ache. I really do not have pain. It does not radiate. No nausea. My left arm has been aching for more than aweek. I started the medicine Invokana about three months ago. I sometimes feel dizzy and faint.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have upper arm pain along with dizziness while on Invokana . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondylosis , cervical radiculopathy , nerve compression , tendinitis or symptoms of angina . It can also be due to side effects of invokana as it is known to cause pain in body . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan or MRI along with nerve conduction test. Doctor may prescribe nerve supplement muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory and physical therapy along with particular stretching exercises . You can also keep your arm in hot water tub with Epsom salt for 15 minutest daily . For now eat healthy keep your arm elevated and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. If your are experiencing dizziness , shortness of breath or weakness along with numbness and tingling in legs then your should go to emergency . Also consult cardiologist to rule out more serious condition .
