HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
These symptoms sound in keeping with neuropathy which refers to abnormal function of the nerves.
It can be temporary or permanent.
There are different possible causes and there are medications that help to reduce these sensations.
Some of the possible causes include: (1)diabetes
(2)trauma to the nerves, this trauma can occur in the
spinal cord or along the path of the nerve
(3)abnormal levels of vitamin b6
(4)low levels of
vitamin b12 or folate acid
(5)liver or kidney disease
(6)side effect of medication
(7)infection such as shingles
(8)neurological conditions such as stroke or ms
(9)idiopathic- in these cases, the cause is not found
To determine if one of these is the cause of your symptoms, you would need to be assessed by your doctor.
This assessment would include physical examination and blood tests as well.
The specific treatment would depend on the cause found though there are general meds that help with these type of symptoms.
Medications such as
gabapentin,
tegretol, lyrica,
amitriptyline -- are used for neuropathy
I hope this helps
