What Causes Upper Right Back Pain?

I have a pain in the upper right side of my back. Sort of feels like a plursy pain - it is not constant and does not seem to be worse if I m standing or moving around. sitting down it feels fine. My concern I m due to go on a day bus trip and am concerned as to whether I should go.

Since no other associated symptoms, it may just be a mechanical pain that may pose no problem.Get a pain drug like aceclofenac before you embark on the trip.
