What Causes Urge Incontinence Along With Body Ache?

Two days ago I developed symptoms of prostitis--sudden urge to urinate but little volume, burning, body ache. I saw my Doctor yesterday, who ordered blood and urine tests. I also showed a low grade fever (100.3; my norm is in the 97s). Meanwhile the prostitis symptoms intensified--more frequent urges (every 5-10 minutes), with almost no urine. I got the lab results today, which did show an infection, and I was prescribed Nitrofurantoin. Is there anything else I should do? I m a bit surprised at how quickly, and intensely, the prostitis symptoms kicked in.

Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

Continue Nitrofurantoin as prescribed. Drink plenty of water to help with urinary symptoms. You can also take Advil for pain. Warm sitz bath also will help relieve pain. Avoid cycling until the pain subsides.

Hope this answers your questions
