What Causes Urgent Urination Urge After Colonoscopy?
Thank you. I'm just curious how they handle urgent urination after having a colonoscopy. I'm thinking of all that liquid I have to drink, and laying down for an hour, I'm bound to feel the urgency. Do they allow you to run to the bathroom during recovery or will they insert whatever it's called, or bedpan???

Colonoscopy is an OPD procedure where a scope is inserted in the colon to assess the inner structures of the colon and other parts of large intestine.
The recovery after the procedure is smooth and the patient is ambulatory or freely mobile.
There is no requirement for the patient to be restricted to bed.
Thus, you can relax that you can move about and use the wash room without any restriction.
