What Causes Urinary And Fecal Incontinence Along With Blood In Urine?
I had anaesthetic yesterday to have my throat looked at. Later that day I had wet myself without knowing and today my bowels moved without me knowing I had to go to the toilet. I have had blood and leukocytes in my urine for about a week and yesterday before I went to theatre I had a temperature. Is that what could have caused this
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Blood and leukocytes in urine may indicate UTI. UTIs may give you the symptoms you describe.Fecal incontinence with UTI is rare, however, UTI may manifest cause watery stool that may at times pass out without control.Other causes of fecal incontinence may include: muscle/nerve damage, constipation, Loss of storage capacity in the rectum, and surgery.I will suggest you see the Doctor for examination and investigation.A urinalysis and a stool exam/culture may be helpful.Other tests like full blood count,ESR, fasting blood sugar, renal function test and abdominal ultrasound may also be requested. Hope this will help Best regards
